La Casa de Carmen
From 18 September till 9 October we spent our holiday in Casa di Carmen in Camarena. Camarena is an authentic village situated between Madrid and Toledo. From Camarena you can easily visit both cities, but there is also the possibility to make daytrips to Talavera la Reina, Avila, San Lorenzo el Escorial and Segovia. The house was clean, well equipped and very spacious, included a big outdoor swimmingpool. The furniture was tasteful. The owners of the house are kindly and helpful, at the other hand very modest. Although the website is only in the Spanish language, communication with the owners is also possible in English. We have had a very good three weeks holiday in Casa di Carmen and we can recommend the house to everyone who likes to discover this part of Spain and who wants to live in a quiet spot.
