Casas Rurales La Huerta

We really enjoyed staying in this special little hill-top house. It has been built and decorated in a traditional style with a lot of care and has a very special garden and views, a couple of lovely places to eat outside and a pretty swimming pool. We saw birds of prey, bats, lizards and some interesting small birds and bees. There is a very nice walk across the hillside past olive groves and fragrant plants. Our daughters enjoyed collecting eggs from the hens, and we all loved the clear star-lit nights. The house is close to a pretty and friendly small town, some beautiful walks and a day-visit is easily possible to Cordoba and Seville, or, at a longer stretch to the coast at Matalascanas.
