We stayed at Eden in the summer of 2011 for 8 days. A family of four with two boys of 9 and 12.
We had a great time. It is a beautifully converted old farmhouse. Easy to get to the coast but tranquil (unlike the coast in August which is very busy). I felt we had the best of both worlds. We could easily get to the coast when we wanted to but could also easily get to Girona and other places inland.
The owners didn't speak much English so they had to be patient with my poor Spanish but we got by.
We would definitely go back.
